I would HIGHLY recommend this unit, or any tankless water heater to anyone!! The rating of "good" for this Aquah 16Lunit would be an understatement!! I bought the Aquah 16L about three years ago to replace a 40gal water heater. This was the best decision I've ever made, and worth every penny!! You will literally NEVER run out of hot water!! I can fill my hot tub up with the correct temp. water continuously, with this unit, without waiting many times for a hot water tank to refill, and is much more cost effective this way too! Combined with the monthly savings I've seen with not having to keep a 40gal. tank of water heated all day much less a pilot, I believe, has already paid for my unit already!! I have also noticed no change between tank and tankless, in how long it takes to get hot water. Although the temp. is a little touchy to adjust, due to the lower water pressure I have, once dialed in is great and consistent! Slight drop in temp. with two showers at once, but again, the unit is turned down real low due to lower water pressure, so I'm sure if it was turned a little higher even two showers at one time would be no problem.

WE have used the 16L for one year. Generally satified except Some problems with adjusting flow. appears to flame out. Controls probably should be re-engineered.

The unit was fairly simple to install, once all the necessary plumbing parts are assembled, don't forgot your flush valve kit. Unit is a bit temperamental to adjust and does require you to relearn how you set your knobs for a shower. Once that is done, the unit works wonderfully. With the cost of the unit, and plumbing supplies coming to nearly 600 including shipping, and doing a self install if it cuts my natural gas bill by 1/3 or 1/2 as most tankless units advertise it will pay for itself in less than 2 years. Super happy about that, as the local utility company wanted nearly 2200 for a comparable unit with a professional install.
